Kitesurfing in Guadeloupe showcases a Caribbean paradise with turquoise waters and consistent trade winds. From the beginner-friendly lagoons of Bois Jolan to the advanced waves at Le Moule, Guadeloupe offers diverse conditions and stunning island scenery for every kitesurfer.
Guadeloupe's kite season
The best time to kitesurf in Guadeloupe is between December and June, when the Caribbean trade winds are most consistent, blowing between 12 and 25 knots. While the wind can be lighter than in other destinations, especially outside peak months, it's perfect for riding with larger kites, typically around 11 to 12 meters.
However, it’s important to avoid the hurricane season from late August to late October, when conditions can be unpredictable.
