Mũi Né's kite season
The peak season for kitesurfing in Mũi Né is from November to March, when the Northeast Monsoon brings strong, consistent winds ranging from 20 to 25 knots, often surpassing 30 knots in the afternoons. Within this season, the optimal months for the most consistent and strong winds are December through February, making it the prime time to experience the best of Mũi Né’s kitesurfing conditions, with clear skies and minimal rain.
The summer season from May to October offers lighter winds, typically between 10 to 20 knots, and more frequent rain. While the conditions are more relaxed, this period still provides plenty of opportunities for kitesurfing, especially for those who prefer a less intense experience.
